How to link your Google Merchant Center and My Business accounts

If you want to create Google local inventory ads and Shopping actions, you will first need to link your Google Merchant Center account with your Google My Business account.

This will link your inventory information with your store information.

The benefit of running local inventory ads is in attracting more people to your physical store. Google local inventory ads allow store owners to showcase their products and store information to nearby shoppers that are searching for items with Google.

When a shopper clicks on your local ad or free local listing that shows your product, they will arrive on a Google-hosted webpage for your store. This page is known as the local storefront. Shoppers will use this local storefront to view your in-store inventory and find out about your store hours, address/ directions, and more.
